Western Michigan is back at Lawson Arena on Saturday night for an exhibition against Wisconsin, a game the Broncos added to their schedule in late August. Puck drop is 6 p.m., and the game streams on NCHC.tv. The result will not count in either team’s record.

The fifth-ranked Broncos are 4-1-0 after a 3-2 loss at No. 1 Michigan on Friday night, when Will Horcoff scored at the final buzzer at Yost Ice Arena. Goaltender Quentin Miller made 25 saves in that game, and Western Michigan came within a fraction of a second of forcing overtime against the nation’s highest-scoring team.

Saturday also gives Broncos fans another look at the team at home in what is the program’s final season at Lawson Arena.

Wisconsin is no stranger to the Broncos. Western Michigan is 4-5-0 all-time against the Badgers and beat them 4-1 in last season’s Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off championship game.
